They don't dissolve readily in cold water, but the taste is totally fine. I've found I have to shake it a lot and let it sit for a while, but there are still sometimes a few clumps. They don't taste like anything weird though and they're very well packaged in individual sachets.I don't really know much about the ingredients and the directions are in Japanese, but it seems like it's a high quality product and it feels like it's doing me some good.When I translated the directions, it says to dissolve in warm water and have 2 sachets a day. I'll try that tomorrow! Hopefully it dissolves a little better in something hot.

I was worried when ordering this that it may taste terrible. Happy to report it doesn't really taste like anything, haha! There is a very faint taste, but you can easily add this to any flavoured beverage and you won't be able to taste it. If I'm lazy I just have it with straight cold water in a tall glass.I do find it doesn't blend particularly well, even with vigorous stirring; bits tend to settle at the bottom. With hydration powders, I find the clumping to be gross, but with this, the powder is finely ground and the clumps are not that noticeable when swallowing.Have been drinking these sachets for a month now. I was primarily wanting to try them because I already take bifidobacterium supplements for gut health, and I've read the studies about black ginger potentially improving metabolism. I'll be honest and say I haven't really noticed a difference. It can take time for changes to occur, so it's possible any noticeable benefits are yet to come. I'll still finish out the box, but for the price I'm not willing to reorder this.Worth noting this does contain lactose on the ingredients list. I'm sensitive to lactose (I have to take lacteeze when I have dairy) but I've not had any issues with these. If you're lactose intolerant, might be worth starting out with a smaller dose and titrating up.

This a premium product that is well presented.The ginger and probiotics are a great combination to settle stomach issues so we can see this will help with digestion and therefore help with weight and inflammation around the gut.In addition to this the serving also has 30mg of NMN which is a pretty high value ingredient to have, it is meant to help with cellular repair.The ginger is an acquired taste but you get used to it. There are 30 servings in the packet of which you have two per day with water morning and night.It’s a great pick me up in the mornings and seems to help with normalising periods too so that’s a bonus.

This is a difficult one to review, because really this is a wellness supplement - because you'll notice it states "Weight Balance Support" rather than specifically something for weight loss as such.The main active ingredient is black ginger extract, along with post-biotics (heat-killed Bifidobacteria), which they promote as supporting metabolism, energy balance and general gut health. There is a bit of research around helping with weight management, but it's not strong.It's tastes fine, and I like the fact it's Japanese made which you would hope means it has excellent quality ingredients.I've used it for a couple of weeks and did notice a bit of a warming effect from the black ginger (sort of when you eat spicey food), so I guess that means the ingredients are genuine.

I have been taking these for a little while now and find them very easy to incorporate into my daily habits. The taste is actually quite pleasant so I don’t mind the flavour at all.
