It leans heavily into the Japanese connection but for me I need something more to become a regular userIN LAST PLACE❌ The box each sachet arrives in is 90% in Japanese language making the list of ingredients unreadable to the English customer which is a big problem for mine. Then, compounding this problem is the detailed list of ingredients in English within the product listing are buried within and are instead presented as a dense difficult to read 12 bullet pointsBottom line, unless the English speaking customer goes to the extra effort of potentially using a translation App then they may not fully understand what and how much they are actually putting into their mouths which is a dangerous scenarios for customers who have food or supplement allergiesMy advice would be if you have some sort of food allergy probably best to avoid this supplement❌ Each sachet does not have a perforated tear option making opening by hand difficult. However, this product appears to be an imported product from Japan into Australia with imports always attracting an addition pricing slug🤔 WRAPPING THINGS UPVery much on the fence with this oneIt seems okay enough to consume with no negative nor positive outcomes from daily use. If there are benefits they must be under hood so to speakHowever the cost for this product is simply too rich for my blood. Not very soluble

They don't dissolve readily in cold water, but the taste is totally fine. I've found I have to shake it a lot and let it sit for a while, but there are still sometimes a few clumps. They don't taste like anything weird though and they're very well packaged in individual sachets.I don't really know much about the ingredients and the directions are in Japanese, but it seems like it's a high quality product and it feels like it's doing me some good.When I translated the directions, it says to dissolve in warm water and have 2 sachets a day. I'll try that tomorrow! Hopefully it dissolves a little better in something hot.

easy to drink; not noticed any difference though

I was worried when ordering this that it may taste terrible. Happy to report it doesn't really taste like anything, haha! There is a very faint taste, but you can easily add this to any flavoured beverage and you won't be able to taste it. If I'm lazy I just have it with straight cold water in a tall glass.I do find it doesn't blend particularly well, even with vigorous stirring; bits tend to settle at the bottom. With hydration powders, I find the clumping to be gross, but with this, the powder is finely ground and the clumps are not that noticeable when swallowing.Have been drinking these sachets for a month now. I was primarily wanting to try them because I already take bifidobacterium supplements for gut health, and I've read the studies about black ginger potentially improving metabolism. I'll be honest and say I haven't really noticed a difference. It can take time for changes to occur, so it's possible any noticeable benefits are yet to come. I'll still finish out the box, but for the price I'm not willing to reorder this.Worth noting this does contain lactose on the ingredients list. I'm sensitive to lactose (I have to take lacteeze when I have dairy) but I've not had any issues with these. If you're lactose intolerant, might be worth starting out with a smaller dose and titrating up.

This is made in Japan so I was really excited to try this, and states quality manufacturing with traditional botanical wisdom and modern science.The individual sachets deliver exact servings for travel or busy days which takes measuring out of the equation - it's super simple! I mix mine with my daily morning smoothie, so it's super easy and convieniant.It has heat-killed Bifidobacteria BR-108 which is formulated with Black Ginger extract combined with carefully selected Japanese wellness ingredients for comprehensive support.I have been using this for a week so far and am happy with how I feel, a little more energised so I will continue to use.Great product!

Interesting wellness product

This is a difficult one to review, because really this is a wellness supplement - because you'll notice it states "Weight Balance Support" rather than specifically something for weight loss as such.The main active ingredient is black ginger extract, along with post-biotics (heat-killed Bifidobacteria), which they promote as supporting metabolism, energy balance and general gut health. There is a bit of research around helping with weight management, but it's not strong.It's tastes fine, and I like the fact it's Japanese made which you would hope means it has excellent quality ingredients.I've used it for a couple of weeks and did notice a bit of a warming effect from the black ginger (sort of when you eat spicey food), so I guess that means the ingredients are genuine.
